Welcome to Greendale Middle School and the 2016-2017 school year! Middle school is an exciting time for students and every new school year gives them another chance to redefine the kind of student and young adult they want to be. The Greendale Middle School Community is committed to meeting the unique academic, social, physical, and emotional needs of our middle level students to guide them to become compassionate, responsible, critical thinkers who will be positive contributing citizens in our global society.
As a school, our goal is to provide our students with a comprehensive middle school experience and will do whatever is needed to help them be successful. The teachers and other adults at the school work to assist students in reaching appropriate academic and behavioral goals and help them identify their passions both in and out of the classroom. Academic achievement and appropriate behavior largely depends on each individual student, but there are many people in our building that can help our students in making this a positive experience.
The implementation of our PRIDE character education program at a middle school level helps foster a learning environment where students are compassionate and respectful to the world around them. It helps students develop the skills and traits necessary to contribute positively to our society. PRIDE, which stands for Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Diligence, and Empathy, is integrated into the many aspects of our school and has become our culture and what we stand for as a school community.
Thank you to all of our families for your continued support over the years as we engage in this journey through the “middle years” together. We are very proud of what we do at Greendale Middle School and invite you to be engaged in many of the family events that take place throughout the school year. Please use our website as a resource of information of all that is taking place at the school. I also invite you to call me at 414-423-2800 or email at email@example.com if you have any questions.
Have a great school year!
